New Opportunities for the Regeneration of Thermal Fluids

The auction of renewable energy for solar thermal power plants will lead to an increase in the production of waste thermal fluid. New business opportunities in thermal fluid regeneration are opening up for Valls Química.
The Ministry of Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge has scheduled the third renewable energy auction for October 25, covering 520 MW of capacity for solar thermal, biomass, distributed photovoltaic, and other technologies.
Due to this increase in solar thermal power plant activity, the production of residual thermal fluid will rise.
This will represent a new opportunity for Valls Química in its thermal fluid regeneration process, thereby contributing to the circular economy—a concept that is well-established and highly valued within the company.
Valls Química and thermal fluid
For about 15 years, Valls Química has dedicated part of its resources to the regeneration of thermal fluid obtained from solar thermal power plants.
In doing so, it has expanded its range of markets and taken another step toward the circular economy—the foundation of its business—by regenerating waste and subsequently reusing it for its original purpose.
In this way, it helps close the loop on waste production and reuse, whether within its own operations or through the creation of other products.
